Other Mammals - how can we help you ?

In addition to badgers, bats. dormice and otters we have a wide range of experience with surveying and working with other mammals. Water voles, Arvicola terrestris, are perhaps the species with which we have undertaken the greatest amount of work and this species is, sadly like so many British mammals, in decline and in need of our help. In the past six years we have undertaken several surveys for the species and if they are an issue with respect to your development we can assist you with this legally protected mammal.

We can also help with other mammal species and our ecologists have been intimately involved with projects on red squirrels, Sciurus vulgaris, and methods of control for grey squirrels which have been largely responsible for the loss of our native red.

Whatever the mammal species we can probably help you. From small mammal surveys to advice on large mammals, and even exotic species such as wild boar and beaver, if we can’t help we will ensure that we get you the best advice that can be obtained.
